Each year the Chamber of Manitowoc County holds their most well-attended and prestigious business reception and dinner. Thirteen awards are bestowed on the best and brightest in our county. One of those awards is the Non-Profit Organization of the Year. On February 7th, 2017, Pink Heals Manitowoc County was one of fifteen deserving non-profits that were nominated for the 2016 Non-Profit Organization of the Year award. The purpose of the Non-Profit Organization of the Year Award is to recognize a Manitowoc County non-profit organization for its dedication to serving the community at large.
Pink Heals Manitowoc County was elated to be chosen as the 2016 Non-Profit Organization of the Year Award Winner! It is with much love and gratitude that we accept this award and thank all of our volunteers, supporters, those battling cancer, those who have survived cancer and the caregivers of our community. Without all of you, our organization would not be possible. While we never want to hear that someone is sick, for those who unfortunately are given a diagnosis of cancer, we want to be there for you. We hope to live up to this award and dedicate ourselves to serving those in our community who are stricken or touched in some way by cancer. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead of coming together as a community for the greater good and helping those eradicate this horrible disease! Thank you all once again – let’s spread some Pink Heals love in 2017!
